Hi! I’m Michelle. I am a strong, independent woman with insatiable curiosity and a deep calling to authenticity. I am also a wife, mother, Mimi, college administrator, educator, author, humanitarian, inspiration seeker, and adventurer. I wear many hats, much to the delight of my polymathic brain!
I write about things that trouble me and also things that inspire me. Sometimes that means I write about my deconstruction journey away from Evangelical Christianity and how that has allowed me to heal from childhood trauma. Other times it might be about women’s issues as a way to educate and help women to feel less alone. I love to shed new light on social issues and hope to serve as a bridge that unites people in a world that is deeply divided.
I am a program builder by trade and I have spent the majority of my career building trauma-informed, equitable, and sustainable programs for marginalized populations. I am very passionate about honoring the humanity of ALL people and leading with radical love and empathy. I feel as though it is my life’s work.
I have been asked many times to write a book. I finally answered that call in November 2025 despite years of dragging my feet! I plan to continue to write about the things I care about and I hope that you will choose to take this adventure with me.
